About our Founder
Khaliyah Barakhyahu is the visionary founder of B’resheet Corporation, a dream she has nurtured for over 20 years. From early on, Khaliyah believed B’resheet would be a beacon of hope, offering families a new beginning through support, education, community revitalization, and affordable housing.
Inspired by the Elder of her assembly, who encouraged her to use her event planning talents to serve families facing the difficult loss of loved ones, Khaliyah saw a powerful opportunity. She combined her extensive experience in event planning with her deep expertise in real estate to create B’resheet—a Non profit dedicated to helping families navigate the complex and emotional process of end-of-life planning with dignity and care, and helping families invest in affordable housing and revitalize neighborhoods.
Through B’resheet, Khaliyah provides compassionate advocacy and practical assistance, empowering families during challenging times and helping to rebuild healthy, thriving communities. Her leadership is driven by a commitment to service, resilience, and the belief that every family deserves support.
